About

ESC is an electrical engineering consulting firm focused on building strong relationships and providing a full spectrum of services to the power, oil & gas, water, manufacturing, industrial, and commercial industries. In developing and maintaining utility, municipal, manufacturing, industrial, commercial power, and automation systems, ESC’s services include design, planning, control systems, and automation integration, structural engineering, and geographic information system (GIS).

History

Since it was founded in 1978, ESC has an established track record of serving many municipal, coop, and G&T utilities, and industrial power users in the Rocky Mountain and central states regions, as well as industrial and manufacturing companies throughout the US. Returning and referred clients represent 90% of its business, due to ESC’s commitment, follow-through, and dedication to creating enduring partnerships.

 

Services

ESC’s solutions serve the following utility sectors: substation, transmission and distribution, planning and system studies, system protection and relaying, SCADA and automation. In the industrial/manufacturing space: instrumentation and control systems, industrial and commercial power design, systems integration, power systems studies, arc flash, and renewable energy and interconnection. 

 

ENTRUST Solutions Group Acquisition

In December 2021, ENTRUST Solutions Group announced its acquisition of ESC.  

Adam Biggam, CEO of ENTRUST Solutions Group, said, “We are very happy to have ESC join ENTRUST,  the company will significantly enhance our capabilities in electric transmission, substation, system planning, and automation, which are all areas we have been actively growing the last few years.” Further adding, “ESC is a phenomenal organization, that similar to ENTRUST has built a strong reputation for creating long-term relationships with clients, so we look forward to working with their team to continue to build on these partnerships.”
