This section takes you through the download and install process for the Liquids HCA Tool. We begin with the process of downloading your Liquids HCA Tool Add-In from ArcGIS Marketplace. The Add-In is used to install your Liquids HCA Tool Software. Next, we discuss how to download the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In from ENTRUST. We then move into the install process where we discuss installing your downloaded Liquids HCA Tool Add-in. Once your Liquids HCA Tool Add-In is installed, we discuss how to install your Liquids HCA Tool software through the Liquids HCA Tool Add-in. Finally, we wrap up this installation section by providing instructions on how to install your Liquids HCA Tool as a Conda package using your Python Command Prompt.
Download Liquids HCA Tool Add-In from ArcGIS Marketplace
This section takes you through the download process for the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In. ENTRUST uses Esri’s ArcGIS Marketplace as one of its ways to house its Liquid HCA Tool Add-In. The Liquid HCA Tool Add-In is accessible to all ArcGIS Online organizational account holders.
To begin installation of the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In please visit the ArcGIS Marketplace.
1.Once in the ArcGIS Marketplace, you must sign in to gain access to content and services. In order to do so successfully, you must have an ArcGIS Online organizational account. Select the ‘Sign In’ option located on the top right of the ArcGIS Market page.
2. Next, the ‘Please Sign In to Continue’ screen displays. Enter your ArcGIS username and password, as requested.
3. Navigate to the ‘Products’ page by clicking the ‘Products’ tab located in the horizontal sub navigation pan. Next, navigate to the left of the screen in the ‘Filter’ side navigation pan, and, under ‘Product Type,’ select ‘ArcGIS Pro add-ins.’
4. Next, place your cursor in the search bar indicating ‘Search Marketplace Products’ and type ‘Liquids HCA Add-In.’ Finally, select the magnifying glass icon to search for the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In.
5. Next, click on the Liquids HCA add-in app.
6. Finally, click on ‘Request free item’ to begin the process of downloading your Liquids HCA Tool Add-In.
Download Liquids HCA Tool Add-In from ENTRUST
The Liquids HCA Add-In link is sent directly to the email you provide in the entry form with your request for the Liquids HCA Tool software. The image below shows the Software Download and Pricing web form.
Install Liquids HCA Tool Add-In
This section takes you through the process of installing your downloaded Liquids HCA Tool Add-In. If you have not already downloaded the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In, please see the Download Liquids HCA Tool Add-In from the ArcGIS Market Place or Download Liquids HCA Tool from ENTRUST Solutions Resource.
1. To begin, navigate to your downloads folder and double click on the Liquids HCA Tool Add-in file named ‘LiquidsHCAAddIn.esriAddinX.’ The ‘Esri ArcGIS Add-In Installation Utility’ window opens. Next, click on the ‘Install Add-In’ button to begin the installation process.
2. The installation completes and the ‘Esri ArcGIS Add-In Installation Utility’ windows displays. Click the ‘OK’ button to finish and acknowledge that the installation has successfully completed.
3. To verify that the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In was successfully installed, simply open a session of ArcGIS Pro. Next, navigate to the ‘Project’ tab. Finally, select the ‘Add-In-Manager’ from the menu and verify that the ‘Liquids HCA Tool Add-In’ is displayed.

Install Liquids HCA Tool using the Liquids HCA Tool Add-In

Install the Liquids HCA Tool Conda package only
The Liquids HCA Tool is installed using your Python Command Prompt. Installing the Liquids HCA Tool requires an understanding of basic Conda scripting language that is used and provided throughout this installation process.
Instructions for installing the Liquids HCA Tool are provided using Windows 10 Pro.
1. To begin the Liquids HCA Tool installation process, navigate to your Python Command Prompt window by typing ‘cmd’ in your Windows search bar.
Right-click on the Python Command Prompt app and select ‘Open file location.’
2. The Windows Explorer opens and displays the Python Command Prompt shortcut file. Right‑click on the ‘Python Command Prompt’ file and select ‘Run as administrator.’
3. The Python Command Prompt window displays. The file path should also display, ‘(arcgispro-py3) C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3>.’ This is the path in which the Liquids HCA Tool Conda packages will install.
4. Next, type the following script into the Python Command Prompt window, ‘conda install -c g2-is liquidshca -–no-deps,’ and press enter on your keyboard to begin the package installation process.
5. The Python Command Prompt begins installing the Liquids HCA Tool Python packages.
6. Next, Type ‘Y’ in the Python Command Prompt window to continue with the installation process.
7. The installation continues the process by downloading the necessary packages.
8. The Python Command Prompt window displays the message, ‘Validating:ok,’ which signifies a successful installation. An error message might display, stating, ‘ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ipython_genutils.py3compat.’ This is an anticipated error, which you should ignore. The installation should complete.
9. Finally, validate the installation by opening your ArcGIS Pro and navigating to Geoprocessing/Toolboxes/Liquids HCA Tools.
